I’ve recently taken on the attitude of giving myself deadlines for things that have been lingering. I either get them done myself by XX date or if not done by then, hire someone to do it. So I give myself options… if I don’t want to spend the money, I do it myself. It’s a win-win either way it ends up, really.

It came after watching the show “Hoarders” — seeing the extent of those people’s situations put things into perspective for me. Tackle the small things while you can – and when you can’t, or it’s too big, hire help.

No task is too big when you have help.

Have I told you today how much I appreciate you?? I do, I do!!!

Like, sometimes I’ve found folks are more relaxed when money isn’t involved in the transaction, and thus there’s less resistance. But I more often find that when money changes hands it does something magical for the focus and powering up the intention. Like NOW we’re serious!

If we don’t practice what we preach (that working with a coach is tremendously valuable), how can we expect our clients to?

I’m surprised when people are surprised that I’ve spoken with a coach. But of course I do! For all the same reasons that people come to me. There are times when self-coaching works, but there are times when I just need a little help. We all do. That’s the way life works. We’re in it together.
